uncharacteristically ok: An upturn

I'm back and i'm fine. Even a flat bicycle tyre won't ruin my mood today. Who says Melbourne weather is bad? The misinformed and the missingout.

I have an idea for a freelance travel article - please fwd comments if you have advice of how to go about this.

WHY

I started this blog in 2008, after separating from my partner of 8 years in mid-2007. A key issue implicated in our break-up was my unstable mental health. In 2009 I fell in love with BG, who became a featured subject of this blog, and then a platonic soulmate for life (in the real world). By late 2013, these blog posts had almost petered out, for no particular reason. In mid 2014 I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder Type II. Since then I have been supported by the most wonderful psychiatrist. I restarted posting on this blog in May 2018, 9 months after my heaven sent-soulmate died suddenly and unexpectedly, of a suspected sudden cardiac arrhythmia. My writing here, however messy and amateur, is in memory of him, my beautiful inimitable Boy Genius.
